What is an Annual General Meeting or AGM?

A meeting in which the members of UUSC elect or re-elect board members, review constitutional changes, and approve the preliminary budget.

Who can attend an AGM and vote?
All registered members within UUSC who are in good standing (i.e. parents, players, coaches, asst. coaches and managers) can attend; only members 18 years of age and older are allowed to vote. A UUSC member "in good standing" has all dues paid in full and on time and also is not suspended from UUSC for Code of Conduct violations or any other reason.

How do I run for a Board Position?
If you or someone you know who is a registered member of UUSC would like to join the UUSC Board of Directors, there are two ways you can apply. You can either:

1. Read the Board of Directors Commitment and fill out the Board of Director's Application and it send it to [email protected]. These need to be received 3 days prior (no later than October 20) to the AGM to be considered. You must attend the AGM on Wednesday, October 23 at 6pm. 

2. Run for the position at the AGM and be prepared to speak about yourself to the membership.

What Positions on the UUSC BOD are up for election this year?

Two year terms:
Vice President,
Treasurer, 
Secretary,
Director at Large #2,
Director at Large #4,
Director at Large #6,

*A note that some officers are running for re-election, some are retiring and some positions are vacant please email for more information. All positions listed above will be brought to a vote of the general membership at the AGM regardless of current status.
