Our Staff

I grew up with a love for the game of soccer and was instilled with a drive to serve my community. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help Umpqua United build and improve and provide Douglas County youth with an amazing soccer program. Both of my kids started playing rec with UUSC when they were five and now play on competitive teams, most of which I have coached or been an assistant. I also started playing at 5yrs and continue to play into my "old" age. "Eat, Sleep, [balance the checkbook], Soccer, Repeat."

Annika brings both playing pedigree and coaching experience to UUSC. A former NCAA Division 2 player at Cal State East Bay, she went on to become the head women's soccer coach and assistant athletic director at Umpqua Community College, where she also works as an academic advisor for student-athletes. Originally from Modesto, California, Annika relocated to Roseburg in 2022 and has spent the past two seasons coaching the UUSC high school girls' winter league team. She also runs her own personal training sessions for club players, helping athletes sharpen their technical skills outside of regular team training.

Hans is an active rec coach and lifelong player with 2 boys playing in U8 and U6 respectively. He is a huge fan of building community through soccer and loves seeing the kids and families play and contribute to UUSC!
