Scholarship Opportunities

At Umpqua United Soccer Club, we believe that cost should never be a barrier to participation. Scholarships are available based on financial need for qualified youth in our recreational and competitive programs, as well as for aspiring youth referees. The scholarship application is available at registration.

Scholarship Programs

Recreational Soccer

  • Award amount: 30–100% off registration fees
  • Need-based discounts are available for families enrolling players in our recreational program. Scholarships range from a partial discount to full coverage of registration fees, depending on your family's financial situation.

Competitive Soccer

  • Award amount: Up to 75% of program fees
  • Our competitive program scholarship is awarded based on demonstrated financial need. Families may receive assistance toward competitive program fees, helping dedicated players reach the next level.

Youth Referee Training (Ages 13+)

  • Award amount: Training cost coverage
  • Scholarships cover the cost of youth referee training for players ages 13–18. Once certified, referees can earn $250–$400 per season working games for Umpqua United. Contact the office administrator at info@umpquaunited.org for youth referee training scholarships.
